How much Psyllium Husk should I take?

It is advised to take 1 heaped tablespoon (about 6g) of psyllium with water, unsweetened juice or fruit/veg shake (200ml / 1 cup). Blend well and consume immediately. You can also sprinkle onto cereal, yoghurt or a Smoothie. Drink at least an extra half litre of water a day to avoid discomfort.

Start with once a day and gradually increase to 3 times a day. Psyllium husk can be taken at every meal if desired.
